Mock Mince Pie

2/3 cup seedless raisins
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup stale-bread crumbs, packed
1/2 teaspoon each cinnamon, cloves, allspice and nutmeg
3 tablespoons vinegar
Pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie

Put raisins in saucepan with 1 cup water, bring to a boil; cover and simmer about 20 minutes. Cool slightly. Mix remaining ingredients, except pastry, add to raisins. Pour into pastry-lined pan. Adjust top crust. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven, 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
