Cajun Green Beans



1 medium onion
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons margarine
2 16-ounce cans French-style green beans, drained
1 can mushroom soup
1 6-ounce roll garlic cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
White and black pepper to taste

Chop onion and green pepper; slice mushrooms. Saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms in margarine in a large skillet until glazed. Add beans, soup and cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Add garlic powder, white pepper and black pepper to taste; mix well. Spoon into a 2-quart casserole. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
