1/2 cup shortening
Cream together shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Immediately spread marshmallow cream evenly
over top. Cool in pan, then cut into squares.
